That's what laws are for. When you break the law of the land you have to suffer th I hear what you are saying but, if you were murdered wouldn't want your family to know that the person who killed you was punished for taking away a loved one? The 15 states that do not have the death penalty are supporting criminals costing the general public millions of dollars to keep them alive with tvs, free food & a roof over their heads (such as it is).
We all don't feel the same but if you live in one of these states you are actually condoning the crime by letting them live. What about the person they killed? They wouldn't have had the choice to die at that point in time.
With today's technology of DNA it is easy to find the right person who did the crime so there is less mistakes like before. I'm not religious or anything but even the bible has stories about killings & murders. I'm not saying it's right but like someone already said "An Eye For An Eye" to me is a lesson well learned.
Simply my opinion.
They are just trying to convince people that it's OK when the "state" kills people but not when an average citizen does it. They would like us to believe that all murder is taboo unless it's sanctioned by the state...Which in that case they would like us to cheer and shout with joy when they do it like a bunch of brainwashed Orwell 1984 schmucks. Kill one you're a murderer kill a million you're a conqueror.
We don't kill them to show them killing is wrong. We kill them to get rid of them.
To stop them from killing more innocent people.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
