Well im no expert but from what I can understand communism basically means that the government provides for its people. But that means that a high class doctor makes the same as a guy working at mcdonalds. Does that seem fair?
Correct me if im wrong. Communism sounds good on paper but it ignores the human condition of motivation. Why would someone spend their time working hard if they could make the same money if they were lazy and slacked off?
Socialism incourages pacifissm, laziness, and reliance on government. Also an other thing: Taxes. In communism from what I understand the government provides everything for you.
Again correct me if im wrong. In order to do this They need to tax the people HEAVILY. Why should the government take out half my pay check to pay for someone elses healthcare and education?
Thats not fair. Again communism sounds great on paper. But in the real world it just produces a bunch of frustrated individuals who most likely feel powerless to change their circumstances because they have given over all their power over to the government.
When you think about it the whole American sports system is a socialist set up. They have wage caps so teams must conform to a budget decided by the league, they have a draft system so weaker teams get to pick the best players and no team gets into the league on merit, they just have to buy a franchise and everybody shares the wealth. This is all in the name of league parity.
Seems to be more of a socialist set up than many Americans would like to admit.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
