Why does Hubs say not to write personal stories yet gives high scores to hubs that are personal?

This site is at the point where writing a hub has become a crap shoot. I rarely write any more because it seems that nothing makes sense on here, I just ask and answer questions for now.

I agree. There seems to be some discrepancy with the terms and how the score is actually functioning. I think short stories and poems of a personal nature do indeed attract more readers, hence that must influence the hub score directly.

Despite what Hubpages suggestion or terms regarding content - personal topics and rants do attract viewers so the hub scores must reflect this change.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
