Macy’s aims to entertain people of all ages on one America’s most treasured holidays, and the parade does just this. The annual tradition, which takes place on Thanksgiving morning from 9am until 12pm and is broadcast live from New York City, has become the department store’s annual gift to the country. The Macy’s Parade first started in 1924, and has brought millions of people together over the years, making the Thanksgiving holiday even more memorable.
