Why does the behavior of people in North Korea grieving over dear leader look so much like the reaction of the?

North Korea is a failed Communist state practicing economic independence, it is not a revelation for a religion whose cultural hearth is thousands of miles away.

Despite the state of matters in NK, I don't think it's fair to denigrate their grieving..
