Bravo! A true Patriot! Well done!

You'll find a lot of people who agree with you and a lot of friendly, open-minded people who are willing to calmly discuss those ideas they disagree on. I've met many people at tea parties who had views I don't necessarily share. But it is a great place to find very intelligent well informed people to engage in civil debate.
I think a lot of people would appreciate your dedication to history. The main issues of the Tea Party is simply that the power of government should be limited, people should be free to govern their own lives as much as possible and the debt should be controlled. The rest is just details.
You will find a wide array of opinions on social issues. I'd say that your signs will probably start some interesting conversations and get people thinking about things in a new way. I like that.
Go ahead and enjoy yourself. You might actually make some friends. The Tea Party was protesting business interference in business.
England was looking to recoup financial expenditures on the French and Indian War. They devised a plan to put a tax on Tea, and then force the colonies to buy only tea that was imported through London. It was eliminating their right to purchase goods from where they chose.
The people decided that if government were taking that much control over their lives and choices, they'd just as soon not drink any tea at all. It's the reason that even now most Americans drink coffee instead of tea. It wasn't really the corporation, or the taxes, it was being forced to purchase a good they did not want.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
