Why does the U.S.A. census classify all North Africans,Middle Easterners & Jews as "White"?

Even if the many Whites from parts of the Middle East and North Africa were to be classified as Martians, they will still be White. In my opinion, the White definition in regards to Middle Easterners and North Africans; it should say parts of the Northern Middle East, and parts of North Africa, because clearly not everybody from the Middle East and North Africa are White. A Saudi on the other hand is NOT White. Many Lebanese and Syrians are of Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Crusader heritage. I know you consider Semites to be a race, but Semite or Semitic is just a linguistic term.

A Semite (or Semitic) is a person who speaks a Semitic language or descends from a people that spoke a Semitic language. That's the only thing Semite/Semitic refers to. I have seen your pictures in your previous avatars, Attilio.

Considering the fact that many Levantines are of Greek/Roman background, you could easily pass for a Lebanese, or a Syrian. So Attilio, it's not an insult if somebody mistook you for a Jew or a Middle Easterner.

It makes sense though...North Africa isn't the middle east and the Middle east is in Asia. Makes sense. That being said Most North Africans aren't Black if you don't want to Include Sudan, Mali and Chad.

Libya actually has a lot of Black people in it. Which is why Gaddafi had Pan African views.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
