When it comes to middle easterners it's mostly the older generations who are isolated that are racist. They either haven't traveled if they live in the mideast or stick to their community if they've moved to the us. They also tend not to be very educated so they hold onto their racist ideas.
They deal only with each other, keep their language, read their own newspapers, go to their own family run markets etc. I'm lucky my parents aren't like that but I have some racist aunts and uncles on both arab and turkish side. They always tell me not to marry a "n*groid" or a "dark man". I have another uncle who told me marry anyone you want as long as it's not a "jewish donkey".
It's really sad but at least their kids didn't turn out that way. My cousins are very open minded. They got used to mixing freely at school and spending time outside of their communities.
Racism lessens with each generation thankfully.
Whites are the most racist people on Earth. Don't believe me just open a history book.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
