If you are then you need to return the clock to its native state. Also, make sure that you have the timings set properly for the type of memory you are using. Another inportant thing is to make sure you have the latest BIOS for your MB and that you have downloaded and intstalled the proper chipset drivers.
If your computer does not have anything installed other than the OS and you get "freezes" then you probably have a bad setting somewhere in the BIOS.

Its fast no problem. You have a good computer so there is no problem in support or anything. You might have got a virus its possibele.
Have you got an Anti-Virus don't forget to instal it as it is new. Also check if you have original Windows 7 and is not downloaded from some torrent. My friends tried to save a few buck and is having some problems.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
