Tough love This answer is coming from a person that has taken this journey with her mate and to tell you the truth if your friend does not want to stop you should exclude them from your life. If you have tried to give them help and they don't want to get it together your best bet is to save yourself. This is a very addictive drug and the person using becomes very selfish, and abusive.It begans to be all about getting that same high as to when it was first introduced into the system for the first time.
They don't understand that once it enters the body so many times it never will give you that same high again. An attics life whatever the choice of drug becomes chaos. I know its hard to walk away, for I went through this for 4 years.
I tried everything possible to help my guy, but nothing was successful. The only love you can give this person is tough love and if they are truly a friend they'll get help. But most of the time it takes them to see the light you cant save them.
If you've been going through this for a while things will only get worse. Pray and ask god to come into this person life and help them with whatever is hurting them so much that makes them destroy themselves Answer Heroin addicts only think of one thing ... the next fix so they don't eat well. Their stomachs are usually empty, they are dehydrated so when they vomit they go into a comatose state which appears to be a high, but once out of that they will go through pure hell until they get their next fix.
They will lie, steal from you and other loved ones and even sell their bodies if that's what it takes to get the next fix I am proud of you for being such a loyal friend, but unless you can talk your friend into detox then the above poster is completely correct Good luck!
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
