Broad question It is very hard to say. You would have to look at the truck. It can be anything from a fuse to a broken wire to a bad connection.

3 You don't give many details but you need to be logical. Assuming it is petrol (gas) you need spark, fuel and compression. Does the engine turn over, does it fire but not run, can you smell unburnt fuel?

Check the spark by holding the plug lead about 1/4" from the plug or a good earth. It should spark. Slacken an injector pipe at the injector and is should spurt fuel when the engine is turned over.

If no fuel check filters and the pump. If no spark check fuses and wiring. If they are OK I suggest you have it tested with diagnostics software because it could be many things such as:Immobiliser faultyECUVarious sensors faultyAir leakContaminated fuelPump weak or not working .

4 If everything comes on, it ain't the battery. The starter, starter relay, starter solenoid, or connections are bad. More details, like does it crank, makes no sound at all, clicks but won't crank.............would get a more targeted answer.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
