Why doesn't WPIX run the Yule Log on Christmas Eve?

Times change and the broadcasting industry is no exception. With the advent of cable and satellite TV, independent stations and networks need to generate as much revenue as possible. In 1966 it cost WPIX $4,000 to present the Yule Log.

Remember, this event is broadcast without commercial interruption. This can be a tremendous hardship on a TV station. They should be commended for showing the program at all.

Besides, if Yule Log ratings continue to rise every year, who knows what the future will bring! More.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
