Why don't opposing teams in Major League Baseball shake hands on the field after every game? Does the ritual stop after college baseball?

Because it's a fake ritual. The players don't want to shake hands they have too, and if nobody is trying to show the other team up , and the teams are respectful they shouldn't have to.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
