Why don't religious people like to believe that religion and science are in contention?

Science and the Bible agree on most things. The only incorrect aspect of so called science is the THEORY (an unproven idea) of evolution. Archeology proves the truth of the Bible all the time.

Put the Bible first and science falls into line. If people had been able to read (the Bible was not available to the common people in the Dark Ages) they would have known that the earth was a sphere and not flat. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
