I would have said that America should definitely have the same regulations as Australia or a similar country, but now I know that the wide availability of guns in America isn t necessarily the problem. A lot of other countries such as Canada have a large availability of guns, but still they have less gun crime. The difference is that people in America are stirred up with so much fear implanted in them by media.
Everyday, Americans watch stories on the news about vicious attacks, rape, murder etc. which makes them feel the need to have guns. America also has a lot of video games and TV shows that promote violence also. A country full of people so crazy with fear should not have guns lying around.
The first step is to take away the fear, not guns. That is the second step. If Americans don t feel the need to defend themselves with guns, just like Canadians, Australians etc, maybe there will be no need to take away guns afterall.
Of course, if this did work out, there would need to be some laws enforced, because there are always going to bee some people who do use guns for the wrong reasons.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
