Why has my dog been wanting to go outside a lot lately?

It could be a number of things. If there was something wrong with your dog, she would try to hide from you. She might just be curious?

My dog started going outside more than normal when he was about 11. It went on for about 6-8 months til he fell down one day and couldnt get up. An x-ray showed cancer in around his stomach/belly.It had been growing and pushing against his bladder.

Apparenty its quite common. Take him to the vet and have an xray done.

We have a cock a poo and he does the same, if the dog sleeps thru the night without needing to go out then chances are the kidneys n bladder are fine. The dog may just want attention or if you are worried take it to a vet.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
