Why have I just up voted an answer and the green button has greyed out but the counter didn't?

You have to refresh the page for counter to refresh moreover.. Not every vote counts towards rating a vote from an ip with in 24 hours is counted..Hope it helps..

Ahmar2 and HRoger, I understand your stand; however, this is the first time this has happened when I've voted, and I've voted for coming up to about 18 months, so I think there is more to it than what you're suggesting.

Just give a little time and soon the buttons will be updated. Sometimes you just need to refresh the page and it won't automatically do so. Also you never know if the answer might have just had the button clicked down to go negative at the same time you clicked up and ended up showing the same result.

For the "Rated Up" button, there is no visible counter. There is only a visible counter for useful, beautiful, funny and awesome!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
