I use it too and spellcheck all the time. I'm not an expert but do use Outlook Express 6 also and use Spellchecker often. You go to : Tools > options > then go to the spelling tab > then check the box that says "always check spelling before sending".... and then there are other options there too that you can uncheck or check.

Then click OK and it should always spellcheck for you before sending. Works for me anyway. :) .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
