Why have Republicans/Tea Party/Conservatives started attacking the Constitution over the Arizona 1070 law?

You shouldn't make sweeping statements or generalizations. Until you talk to EVERY person claiming to be a "conservative," you can't make the statement you did. I am personally outraged over the law as it is one giant step closer to a totalitarian police state.

All citizens of a certain age have to carry their driver's license with them and produce it when asked. No one has a problem with that. If you are illegal you get deported.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
