Nope. I never knew one Liberal in the media or otherwise who attacked Laura Bush. I think her reading initiative was rather benign and a good thing.
No Liberal said she was trying to force our kids on what to read or that she was trying to indoctrinate or control us.
And it hasn't stopped. They are still blaming George for anything they don't like. They are still calling for him to be punished for 'war crimes' when even Hillary and Bill Clinton signed on for him to send troops to Iraq.
Some campared George to Hitler. It was the worse I've ever seen a president attacked by anyone. Laura and Barbara were so ladylike and perfect that they did not get attacked often.
Michelle is different and never acts (or dresses) like a First Lady should.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
