Why haven't some hobos ever heard of a public restroom?

If this hobo isn't smart enough to know of a better place, he should've been locked up in a shrink ward. At least they provide adequate food, shelter, hygiene, and clothing in those places: fmylife.com/miscellaneous/6166961If I had the misfortune to become homeless, and didn't have any friends around to let me crash at their place, I would have at least gone to a restroom in Burger King, Subway, and many numerous other public venues that have restrooms! Some places are open 24 hours, like Wal-Mart.

If I was a hobo who had to answer Nature's call deep in the night, I would've stopped at Wal-Mart. Why didn't this hobo on the FML know to go to a public restroom anywhere? Asked by EgaoNoGenki-Owari 26 months ago Similar questions: hobos heard public restroom Environment.

Even I have been in a situation where none was available. And in some of those intestinal cases (not so much the bladder), holding it isn't even possible. Sorry, but this is something that municipalities should be addressing but are not because they really wish the homeless problem to go away.It doesn't go away.

So things like these results-of-the-homeless remain. Some places are open 24 hours and some homeless are nowhere near those places..

1 I read the link, if someone did that, it is obvious they are mentally unbalanced, and you can't hold that against them.

3 The best place to hang out all night if you are homeless, semi-homeless, or in a city away from home and not in a hotel -- is in a hospital. Intensive Care units have people literally camping out for days, weeks, or months. Nobody questions them, as that would be insensitive.

If I were homeless, I'd hang out there for a few weeks or in a hospital foyer close to the E.R. Everyone would just assume I was waiting on someone and needed some sleep -- maybe needed to 'live' there a few days. Hospital restrooms, especially off seldom-used lobbies, are usually VERY clean, and you can wash yourself in a basin. Everyone will just assume you've been waiting for a patient and need to clean yourself. As long as you don't bother anyone, no one should care or even know.

Also, it is usually possible (not to gross anyone out here) to 'go' anywhere there's a bush, wall, or bench and not traffic. Doing the 'right' thing is NOT "using a public restroom" per se' -- but not being seen and removing the evidence, like, throwing it in the bushes after picking it up with a paper bag, paper towel, or plastic bag. Some "public restrooms" are lecherous crack dens of aids and smeared feces and hypodermic needles, and who'd want to go there?

Sometimes, restrooms are too small to be of much use, or too easy to mess up, or simply not available.

4 You have to have a referral from a doctor to be admitted to a "shrink ward". Also, they are not free. No insurance, Medicare, or SSI?

No admittance. Stores like Wal-Mart are most usually adverse to allowing "hobo's" to use their restrooms, and stop them at the door. The same goes for restaurants.

Two things: FMY is not factual. People make up disgusting things simply to have something to post. Hobos is not the correct term for homeless people.

Is It legal for an employee of a company to follow a paying customer into the public restroom, and stand by their stall.

Guys, list some of your public restroom etiquette pet peeves.

So I was just in the public restroom at work, was washing my hands and a guy walks in and startles me.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
