I'm using Firefox 3.6.15 with NoScript 2.0. 9.8. NoScript tells that he isn't blocking any js scripts from the SE. Firefox noscript link|improve this question asked Mar 8 '11 at 18:29alehro3921210 88% accept rate.
It seems I found the cause. Stackexchange.com should be allowed too. I will test.
– alehro Mar 8 '11 at 20:33 This isn't really a programming question. – lwburk Mar 9 '11 at 16:38 I believe here it has much more opportunity to be answered. It is obvious that I choose the place to ask not by abstract categorization but by chances to be be answered.
– alehro Mar 9 '11 at 16:56 @alehro - "What is the best food for a programmer? " is also a question that has a very high chance of getting dozens of answers here. It's also subjective and inappropriate for this site.
The guidelines do not state "ask whatever you think has a high chance of being answered. " – lwburk Mar 9 '11 at 17:36 Ok. But I still think that it's a programming question.
It can be rewrited as: "Is there something wrong with SE's js setection mechanism? ". Sorry, but won't argue on that question any more.

For StackExchange sites, Javascript is run from the following sites: google-analytics.com sstatic.net adzerk.net quantserve.com googleapis.com stackoverflow.com (varies depending on SE site) Make sure you have Javascript enabled on all of the above. Edit: I forgot to add perhaps the most important, home of the site framework/engine: stackexchange.com.
It is. If it wasn't I've seen the corresponding NoScript message. – alehro Mar 8 '11 at 18:57.
Try turning off NoScript temporarily to see if it resolves your issue and also ensure that you have the 'Enable Javascript' checkbox checked under your Firefox options window.
This banner flashes rarely. Lets say one time in several hours. And it doesn't bothers me.
So, I don't want to sacrifice my safety and switch off NoScript. I'm just curious, may be I found a bug (!) in SE JavaScript detection system. – alehro Mar 8 '11 at 18:50.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
