I don't think they would be considered the most dangerous cities to drive in. They might be on the list, but not in the Top 5 I just read about. In a recent article on AOL they listed the most dangerous places in the US to drive and the ones you mentioned didn't make it in the cut.
The Top5 are: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Providence, RI, Philadelphia and Washington DC. But this was based on someone visiting that city and trying to putter around in a rental car. news.travel.aol.com/2010/10/11/most-dang... I did however find the article that lists your cities, but the survey done was based on the percentage of drivers reporting prior accidents.
bizjournals.com/baltimore/stories/2010/0... The article sounds misleading since the study was done by an insurance company. I wouldn't base how safe I am driving in any area based simply by what is stated when setting up an insurance account. There are too many other statistics that come into play when judging how safe an area is to drive.
Baltimore: Too many ghettos and thugs. Johnson: No idea where that is at, LOL. Portland: Too many bridges and rivers, also it rains and snows a lot there.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
