Why is Joseph Smith not considered to be a true prophet as others before him to every christian church?

Faith vs. feelings. Which should guide your core beliefs? There are 2 types of faith: dead, and living faith..... Dead faith - Many people believe that God exists, but only a few obey (Lordship).

James 2:14-17, 20 - dead faith doesn't save, not useful/helpful (felt good despite without doing what God requires), useless, results in eternal death. If we could all be saved by this type of faith, even demons would go to heaven, making God--a liar. Not.

Living (obedient) faith - Faith that is pleasing to GOD. James 2:18 - seen by obedience, in works, obeys even in trying circumstances. Ex.

Abraham, Rahab obeyed no matter what their feelings were. Walked by faith, not sight. Hebrews 11:6 - without living faith it is impossible to please God Romans 10:17 - faith comes by hearing the word of God.

Walking by feelings: Jeremiah 10:23 - not within man to direct his own steps. Isaiah 55:8 - God's thoughts are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways. Psalm 37:23 - steps of man are established by the Lord.

Proverbs 20:24 - Man cannnot understand God's ways--or even his own. Proverbs 16:2 - the ways of man are "clean" in his own sight, not God's. Proverbs 16:25 - a way "seems" right to a man, but ends in eternal death.

Jeremiah 17:9 - men's hearts are deceitful above all things and desperately sick. 1 John 5:4, 5 - Battle belongs to the LORD. Not man's plans.

So, who exactly can trust their "feelings" if God tells us we should trust Him alone? We ALL know we as humans can oh so easily lie to ourselves, let alone others, to justify any actions as we see fit, yet when that same "easy justification" is seen on another? They are sinning.

No one is immune from this very human condition. Some justify their feelings because they have either dead faith or never had faith to begin with. They put their trust in another---who goes along with justifying sin.

Why? Because it never fails that they, too, assume they will get something out of helping cover sin, and call it walking by faith. Nope.

Walking by feelings. It "seems" right.

First. The Bible specifically reveals the role of Joseph Smith in Isaiah 29. Second, no other church organization is structured as close to the primative church.

Third, no one prior taught that all mankind could be saved by the Atonement without acceptance of Christ in mortality. Joseph Smith restored that principle. Christian Lite considers the Book of Mormon as a stumbling block.

In fact it makes the beliefs of modern native Americans a testimony as well. So I know he was a prophet without regard to warm and fuzzy feelings. I can also see that he had failings that caused his closest associates to sometimes leave him.

I am then moved by the fact while they feel away from the man, they did not retract their witness.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
