It happens because when you position an element "absolutely" it is removed from the flow of the document in the Document Object Model and so elements that remain in the flow of the document appear "above" the removed element. For cross-browser compatibility place your z-index adjustments on the parent element of the absolutely positioned element.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
