Plants get their food from minerals and organic matter in the soil, and once those are depleted they must be replenished. Switching from distilled water to drinking water would probably help, if your tap water has noxious amounts of chlorine in it. Otherwise, tap water would be better.

Thanks for your feedback. I was using distilled water because one website recommended using it. I will switch to drinking water to see what happens.

While distilled water would get away from the chlorine and other chemicals municipal tap water might have, it also removes the natural minerals that plants use as part of their nourishment. The cheap (store brand drinking) water would cost less, as well as still having some of the minerals.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
