It was ATF Phoenix, and they disobeyed the administration's policies by implementing gun-running tactics, no where in the briefings for Operation Fast and Furious were gun-running tactics suggested or implied... it was against policy and the ATF Phoenix Division disobeyed policy. The head of ATF Phoenix admitted that they "improvised" by using gun-running tactics in the operation. This was already made clear and solved in the Congressional hearings, if you paid attention to the news at all.
------------------ I am aware of the use of "Executive Privilege" during Issa's inquiry, I'm surprised you know about it considering you obviously did not follow the case very well. If you remember the congressional hearing and Issa's investigation... what they were looking for was evidence that the DOJ found out about the gun-running and then covered it up. They never suggested that the gun-running tactics came from the DOJ (much less Obama)... only that ATF Phoenix's rogue tactics were discovered by the DOJ and they were never reprimanded or investigated for it.
Issa's request that Obama used "Executive Privilege" for was for documents that related to how the Justice Department handled their own investigation into the program. To claim that the Obama administration sold guns directly to mexican cartels makes you sound ridiculously uninformed, even for your side. ------ Thumb me down for stating specific facts about the case, as opposed to this idiot's broad misconceptions.
Okay sheep.
If you go to any war torn country in the last 50 years and ask them where they bought their guns they will show you the reciept that is clearly marked made in the USA, In fact it's about our only export...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
