Why is the Obama campaign Threatening Legal Action Over NRA Ads?

The only genuine reason that you need a gun is because other people have guns including our government. I will tell you something I have noticed over the years. No one seems to discuss regulating private security companies.

You are outraged that some of us want to own a semi-automatic rifle with a magazine but what about the fact that right in North Carolina, USA. We have Academi formerly known as XE, formerly known as Black Water USA, that slaughtered a dozen or so innocent people in a town square and wounded a few dozen more. They didn't even have to say "We're sorry".

They get to have fully automatic weapons with chain link ammo, hand grenades, rocket launchers, and armed and armored vehicles and they serve whoever pays them this week without any moral or ethical concern whatsoever. No one wants to take their guns. So why are they above reproach after killing who knows how many innocent people yet some guy who has never broken the law or harmed anyone in his life is a potential mass murderer because he wants a gun that fires more than once without reloading?

Academi is just one of many private companies allowed to be much better armed than the rest of us private citizens. The truth is that many private citizens who are very affluent have access to fully automatic weapons or mercenaries with them. We need guns because they are already out there.

We cannot have an actual right to life if were not permitted to defend out lives and we cannot defend ourselves if there is a double standard that says you can have a musket but I can hire 50 guys with tanks. If you can get Jesus or the aliens to disarm everyone at the same moment including our untrustworthy government than I fully support you. I will stand right beside you to demand that no one make any more of the evil things.

But till then, if some people are allowed to have guns than everyone must be given the same right. The reality is that were not trying to disarm everyone. Were trying to disarm the common ordinary citizens.

The government can keep their guns. The rich can keep their private security armed to the teeth. The police can have even better guns.

The criminals will have guns because gun control means nothing to them. We only want to disarm the regular citizens who generally obey they law. Come back and talk to us when you want to disarm everybody and have some practical means to actually accomplish that.

I promise I will be very interested.

I am not an NRA member nor do I own a gun. NRA members believe in the US constitution. Remember that the Nazis first confiscated firearms before they were able to beset upon the populous.

There is a possibility of a US government becoming tyrannical within the next 50 - 75 years. This is the reason they want to destroy the second amendment.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
