Its two reasons; 1. Usually in the winter, a strong ridge of high pressure forms along the North Pole. Gh pressure funnels north to northwesterly winds which means artic cold air rushes down throughout most of North America. So far this year, there hasnt been a ridge that has formed yet over the North Pole, keep in mind winter hasnt' offically begun either.2.
The jet stream is rising more north then usual- When the jet rises to the north (instead of being zonal) it allows warm and moist air to pump up from the Gulf Of Mexico, warmer then normal air has gone as far north as Northern Canada. 3. Will it snow in Januaray and Feburary?
It should Its eerie because I'm at My Dad's place visiting for the weekend and usually theres a good 3 to 4 feet of snow covering the ground and the lake is soldiy iced over. This year theres maybe an inch of snow on the ground and the lake just skimmed over last night with a thin layer of ice. If you want to how warm its been here, there was a guy boating in the lake a few days ago, thats how unusually warm its been here.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
