Why isn't Prince Philip (Queen Elizabeth's husband) a king?

Queeny thought that a bit of boxing with the Krays could toughen him up, the krays were quite talented in the ring. It must have worked , because you never see any headlines about him being beaten up and left in an east end alley. You wouldn't argue with him.....hes trained.
