Why it Everest called mount Everest called mount Everest?

Everest is called Qomolangma Peak in Tibet, and Sagarmartha Mountain in Nepal. In Western countries Everest gained it's name after George Everest a Surveyor General of India.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
