Here's an answer of mine from another question: " don't foist Romney onto others. He's your baby, which is why the GOP is a joke. The fact that McCain sold out to neo-cons by choosing Palin, the field of losers amongst the course of this primary, and the popularity of Fox News makes all conservatives look like dumb rednecks.
Think about it in terms of the party's platform on African-Americans.... a few blacks steal basketball sneakers; therefore, all blacks are on welfare, live in the Ghetto, and have too many babies and abortions: which is like, all conservatives are like Bachmann, Palin, Limbaugh, and Romney." Instead of focusing on this, because let's face it.... liberals didn't put Romney in the GOP, the conservatives did that all on their own.... but why not focus on the real problems of the Republican Party? Those problems are racism and intolerance.
I don't believe racism to be a conservative value, nor to I believe it's a belief system of either party; however, the GOP has given a home to them, and until they are booted out on their butts, I see no reason to defend anything by the Republicans. Anyway, other than his stance on his state's insurance mandate, I don't see anything liberal about Romney. Could you list something else?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
