Why should college fraternities be encouraged or abolished?

Back when I was in college many fraternity's had "Welcome Mom's and daugthers" or "Thank you Dads for sending your Daughter to this college" signs as a joke. We had fathers laugh at the signs the whole time.

Heck during parents weekend one on my campus fraternities had the song "Put it in my mouth" by akinyele (Extremely dirty song) blasting from their house and their was an older female trustee alumni in the front yard talking to brothers and reminencing of her days at the college and all the guys she hook up with at college and in the fraternities when she was a student in the 1970s. She thought it was great and shared a beer with them. People really are just getting mad for no reason these days.

No one can take a joke it seems and that why comedians don't want to go to colleges any more. Lets not for get about these sorority signs https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CNSDCxfUEAA2APj.jpg Lets ignore the fact that those in greek life are more likely to graduate college and those in greek life have a higher GPA than those not in greek life. Also the tens of millions fraternities and sororities raise for charities.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
