Becoming an organ donor is good for people who are in need of transplants, they might not normally get. If you don't have a plan for the use of your organs after you pass, then you should consider organ donation.
By deciding to be a donor, you give the gift of hope ... hope for the thousands of individuals awaiting organ transplants and hope for the millions of individuals whose lives could be enhanced through tissue transplants. Use the link below and then select your state to register as an organ, tissue, and eye donor. > Register in your state to be a donor.
I don't know MySQL, but 10K hits/day is nothing (unless, of course, they all happen within 10 minutes and the rest of the day is without traffic) Same as 1 SQL server express will use 1GB, but RAM is also used for other things in the system. Upgrading to 2GB would certainly help, above that is uncertain, but RAM is cheap so buy 4GB to be safe Edit: 10K hits/day, evenly distributed, is 0.12 hits/second, or 1 hit every 8.5 seconds.

– Raja1 Nov 26 '09 at 9:44 I mean that it is certainly capable of handling loads WAY larger than 1 hit every 8.5 seconds. But it won't scale into infinity. – erikkallen Nov 26 '09 at 10:57 Unless, of course, you have complex logic that takes more than 8.5 seconds on average to process.
But if you can't fix that with indexes, you have probably hit the max database size of 4GB. – erikkallen Nov 26 '09 at 10:58.
I would go for SQL Server Express so you can easily take advantage of the ASP. NET Membership elements. It will handle loads higher than you mention but like Erik says, give it some more RAM.

I come from a linux/apache/php/mysql background. For my current project, I am forced to write web services using ASP.NET. I have installed visual studio and created an ASP.NET web service project.
The web service I'm creating will use a SQL database backend. I see that visual studio installed "SQL Server Express 2008." I can see that there is a service called "SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS)" that is running.
My question is, how do I run queries against this database? Where's the front end?
You should be an organ donor because it will help save someone's life. It is awesome when someone agrees to donate an organ. Save a life and make someone happy.
Each day more than 100 people are added to the national transplant waiting list and 17 people die unnecessarily simply because the organ they need is not available. If more people said yes to donation fewer lives would be lost. A 2005 University of Minnesota study found that 97% of Minnesotans support donation, yet data from the Department of Public Safety, shows that only 43% of Minnesotans have ‘donor' marked on their driver's license.
The most commonly cited reason individuals report for not having ‘donor' on their driver's license is simply because they haven't gotten around to it." Now there's a new more convenient way for Minnesotans to become a donor. In 2007, Governor Tim Pawlenty became the first Minnesotan to register as an organ and tissue donor on the state's new online registry.
Think about the last time you were getting a license - it's hectic and a long wait. Possibly the last thing on your mind was considering to be a donor. The online registry allows you to mark your wishes when you want.
The online registry is a secure database that records the same information as the driver license to ensure that person's wish to be a donor is fulfilled. Warren waited for two years for a life saving transplant, during this time he was unsure of his fate. He was used to taking care of his family and it was very hard for him to watch his family struggle while he was sick.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
