Mermaid Girl' Shiloh Pepin Dies Posted on October 24, 2009 Shiloh Pepin, a girl born with a rare condition often called "Mermaid Syndrome," has died. Pepin appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey" show and on TLC. She was 10-years-old.
Maine Medical Center spokesman John Lamb said Shiloh died at the hospital Friday afternoon, the AP reports. She had been hospitalized in critical condition since last week. Shiloh was born with sirenomelia, a condition where her legs were fused from the waist down.
The condition is about as rare as conjoined twins and is usually fatal within a day or two of birth. Last month, Shiloh sat down with Oprah and said she didn't mind being called "mermaid girl" and she had no interest in getting her legs separated. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
