Why was the US government NOT justified in dropping the atomic bomb?

About the same as BP had control over the oil spill problem. Don't be stupid and believe in any type of efficiency from your government. God help us.

Ummm im not sure how prepared depending on how it was delivered (like in a missile or aircraft or what) but I do know there are measures to counter them. For instance there are sites all over the country to shoot down missiles. You can try to research it but its really hard to find information (for obvious reasons) I think I saw something about lasers being used but I have no proof.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
