Why won't South Korea retaliate after being attacked twice and lying about the attack where over 40 sailors were killed?

The reason is simple: Because world politics doesn't work like that. North Korea is backed by China, one of the most powerful countries in the world (at par, or even more powerful than the US), and to some degree Russia. Plus, North Korea has nuclear weapons.

Attacking North Korea would de-stabilize the entire Eastern region, something which would hurt the entire globe, including the US, which already has a very fragile economic balance at the moment. Therefore, it's not as easy to resolve this situation as to simply 'go in and wipe them out'. There's all kinds of checks and balances to take into account.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
