Why would a man you love say he wants to be with you yet not leave his girlfriend of 6 years?

I don't know the exact answer to this question but would love to know. I have been in a similar situation. But my role was the 6 year girlfriend.

Ive been with him for 6 years and he has cheated on me numerous times...not with random girls...but with the same girl. I want to leave him but I really do love him. When I try to leave him and be strong...he continues to call me...over n over again...and I always end up giving in...cause I do love him.

I always hoped he will change. But than he ends up calling the other girl too. I don't know what to do.

He was with me before he knew her. But whenever I found out about her and she found out about me, he told her that he loved me and will never leave me for her. He tells her everytime I find out, not even once in 6 years he has said that he wants to leave me for her....but he continues to call her.

I just don't know what the deal is. I wish that either he pick me and commits to this relatiiionship...or he can end it and be with her. I have tried to come up with a answer to this forever yet cant come to anything that makes sense.

Could it be that he loves her too...or he loves me more than her and always picks me because he is definte that I will never take him back yet she always takes him back even after he tells her that he never cared for her.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
