Why would a neutered male cat try to mount a nonspayed female?

Oh please....some male cats are serious humpers but the dominance behavior needs to be stopped. For god's sake I had to put up with my spouse's cat (spouse had him before we were married). He masturbated all the time...he LOVED the couch pillows.

But honestly, if he was on your lap and you started petting him, he started humping and drooling. GROSS. Mother effer lived to be 18.

But it wasn't dominance behavior...no biting, etc. Why on earth haven't you neutered him yet?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
