There will be some, but not much. Try to overclock your cpu as much as possible, which might be hard because the muliplier will be locked so you'll have to alter the FSB.

There should not be any bottlenecking. If there is, it would be very little. If I were you i'd just get a 6950, not a 6970.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
