No. Because even before the computer controlled trans in 93, the design of the bellhousing on the trans was changed for the 1990 model year. I found this out by talking to a gm technician when I was looking at swapping the trans in my blazer Answer Sure it will.As long as it's a 4.3 Answer NO in '93 they went to a computer controlled transmission the 4L60E, later models will work but not earlier the bell housing for a 4.3 is all the same even for the 5.0 (305) and the 5.7 (350) no matter what year but the electronics make the difference.
