Will acquiring a dog and training the animal to be a guard dog be a wise decision?

A properly trained guard dog can be a good idea for added home protection. There is not one specific breed of dog that is necessarily better than another. There are just breeds that look menacing and tough and most often used as guard dogs.

There are some breeds that are more laid back and may not be the best sentinel, but with training, any dog large or small can become a guard dog. A household with young children or babies may not want to have a dog trained to be a guard dog unless there is a trainer in your area that has an A++ rating with past customers and the Better Business Bureau. This will ensure the training is preformed properly and accidents will be less likely to happen.

Also, look for a trainer that doesn’t use force or violence to train your dog. This will only produce a violent and unpredictable dog. Helpful Sites: ehow.com/how-does_4795888_training-guard... guarddogtraining.com.au/index.html petmedsonline.org/top-10-best-guard-dog-....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
