Of course not as there is no reason to be enthusiastic about a liberal socialist when one is a conservative. There really is no difference in Romney and Obama in ideology. I cannot ever see myself getting excited about a liberal candidate.
Santorum would make an excellent president and would offer change from the current direction of the country. Romney only represents a different face and label on the same ideology. The Republican hierarchy wants to promote Romney's candidacy as a beauty contest.
They want us to choose from the two liberal socialists of different parties offering the same direction for this country. There will be no real choice and to say that anyone but Obama says that we must vote against the person of Obama instead of his ideology. I do not have anything personally against Obama except that he has disappointed me in his leadership and the direction of change that he has championed.
He certainly has little or no respect for the Constitution and this is the only clear difference between him and Romney. Sadly for those who say anyone but Obama it is clear that given a choice of another direction such a candidate could easily beat Obama. But, a Republican clone of Obama has no chance which is a good description of Romney.
Santorum has the best chance against Obama but he has been beaten by the unlimited funds promoting Romney and the shameful way that Romney has lied in using that money against his opponents. Romney is clearly a despicable character unworthy of the presidency of the US but so is Obama. I am one conservative independent who will not vote in November if Romney is the candidate and I know of many others who will sit this election out both moderates and conservatives.
Certainly the conservative base of the Republican party will be absent as well as they, like me, have no dog in this fight. This will result in a bloodbath by Republican candidates across the board. The Republican party may never recover from this error of trying to be more liberal than their opposition.
They need to present a candidate that Americans can be enthusiastic about electing instead of empty suits like Romney. It is obvious that Santorum can beat Obama and Romney cannot.
Not remotely. You can just hear them choking down the bile.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
