You are looking a long way ahead, which is no bad thing. However, although there is a call for programmes like this you have to think of where your money will come from. No way will any mortgage company or bank lend you money unless you have a very good business plan and that plan has to have you earning enough money to be making a healthy profit.
These children you are talking about I have no doubt would benefit from being around animals but for you to have monies coming in they have to pay and that payment will no doubt, have to come from the local council and it is doubtful that they would enter into such a programme. You all need to go to University and study, remember that when you finish Uni you will be in debt (unless your parents are very wealthy) and then you need to go out and gain experience working in the real world. After about ten years of doing this you might be able to raise the money needed, get a loan and pay off your student debts.
You all need to dream but keep your feet on the floor. No one will support you without serious experience. Good luck to you and I hope you manage it.
That is great! Are you talking about Equine Therapy? I volunteer at an equitherapy stable and it is so great we have a couple different things we do we have trail rides and short rides in arenas for disabled kids, kids that have mental disorders, and kids with down syndrome etc. we also have these lessons for juvenile dilinquents that they do a couple things, they like ride the horses at a walk, they clean out stall, and ithink they learn to groom and stuff but overall this stable is great, its sad to think they hardly have any volunteers sometimes I mean who doesn't want to be around tons of horses?
Haha any way it is fun and rewarding and it would be so great if thats what you decided to do! Depending on how many horses you would have (my stable has probably 15+ horses) your gonna need nice open fenced in pastures so your gonna need a good chunk of land for both pastures and arenas/ trail rides etc cause there should be at least 2 acres per horse, well sheltered stalls and pins, and all your tack which is NOT cheap so youll need saddles, stirrups, saddle pads, lots of halters and lead ropes, etc etc etc, several sets of grooming supplies so curry combs dandy brushes hoof pics etc, you may want a bathing station as well to show kids how to bathe and groom a horse, and alot more things but those are the basics, at my stable we also have a small office building where you can rest, eat, drink, sign in, register to volunteer, where they take calls, fill out forms and MANY more things your definetly gonna need a LOT of knowledge and depending on the size more than 3 workers to take care of everything all of the things you want to study sound good but your gonna need some good experience with horses beforehand as well this is gonna take ALOT of money but it will be worth it^_^ youll first need a good aproximation of how much youll need for however many acres you want, money for tack and grooming supplies (think of how many sets youll want, at our stable each horse has their own basket for grooming supplies and tack), and start planning the details of how your gonna build your stalls and what horses you may be interested in (at my stable there are a couple Clydesdales, a pony, Arabians, and Quarter horses and a couple more) so if your gonna get a horse like a clydesdale your gonna need some bigger dimensions for your stalls, the building will probably cost alot though im not sure if you can get a loan for some of this stuff, you would have to research more about loans and how big of a loan you wanna shoot for I know the first thing I do is design exactly how I want everything and how big and what of everything so plan everything out whilst making your money and studying:) hope I helped and good luck! I hope you can live your dream.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
