Straight Talk is a prepaid service and it only uses phones locked for its service. So basically as of now you are limited to only a few "dumb" phones. They did offer a samsung touchscreen "smart" phone but they took it off for sale because of errors and problems with the phone. So far you cannot use unlocked phones with their service.
Recently I read that they have added AT&T to their service network, so they will possibly adding GSM-enabled phones to their line up. They have not announced when that will happen or which type of phones so you definately want to keep checking their website in the near future.
I was able to get talk and text but no data on my unlocked samsung vibrant when I put a straight talk sim card in it. Im still trying to figure out why im not able to get data because its pointless to have an android phone and not be able to get online or get your emails and stuff.
If you had this same plan with Apple's Iphone as a new customer, you would be paying well over $100! The Android operating system has thousands of free Apps and plenty more if your willing to pay a little. Our area doesn't even have a strong Sprint service but it runs just fine.
Plus it has WIFI capabilities. Even after streaming Pandora for several hours and daily phone usage, the battery only drained a couple of notches at the end of the day. This has been a super money saver for us!
I'm thinking of getting another one so we don't have to share it anymore!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
