No surprise at all. Time was Wrestlemania would sell out "in minutes" just because it was Wrestlemania and we knew we were going to get a helluva show full of "epic matches", celebrity guests, live music acts, Vince getting his, and a "shock of the year". This year (uh, next year, I mean) we can look forward to no Shawn Michaels, no Chris Jericho, no Batista, perhaps no Triple H, maybe no Undertaker (though those two will probably be back before WM), perhaps no CM Punk (depending on his injury rehab) and Christian, no "epic" storyline involving Vince getting his comeuppance, no celebrities, no live music acts, no "big show" atmosphere, just a very expensive extended episode of RAW.
WWE PPVs, for the most part, have been very lackluster this year. The WWE has been in a creative rut this year, recycling storylines and feuds, overexposing their biggest stars, and failing to generate much excitement with their new performers. Their biggest angle this year (Nexus and Cena forced to join them) has failed to deliver on its promise and has become boring and stale.
BQ: The Georgia Dome holds over 70,000 fans and will probably sell out (because it's Wrestlemania and does have the other events, Fan Axxess and the Hall Of Fame ceremony) but the real measuring stick is PPV buys. Wrestlemania buyrates have been falling by about 100,000 each year for the past few years and WM27 looks to continue that downward trend, especially with no "epic match of the century" in the offing and several key "players" absent (or potentially absent). Unless the main event is Cena vs The Undertaker or The Rock comes back to wrestle a match, WM27 will be a failure compared to WMs of the past.
Nope. WWE has been putting bad PPVs this year in 2010. WWE has put the low quality PPVs, pretty much inferior to Attitude Era.
No surprise WWE Fans are tired and sick of this, and they don't want to buy WM 27 since they know WM 27 is gonna be another bad PPV. Furthermore, WM 27 has the potential to be the worst WM of all time and replacing WM 9. I think Cena vs The Undertaker must happen, and if WWE doesn't have balls to book it.
Please don't give Taker opponent such as Wade Barrett, Nexus, or Sheamus. They are talentless. And please no Kane, he has fought The Undertaker too many times.
If it isn't Cena, I would prefer Triple H to be the one. Triple H's way worthier to face Taker at WM 27 other than those guys. Triple H vs The Undertaker for WHC would make a pretty good main event.
And what about if HBK as the special guest referee? HBK has to choose to call the match fair and let the man who retires him beat his best friend or help his best friend end the streak to get revenge? That would be a good match with HBK as the guest referee since HBK had a lot of history with both of HHH and Taker.
BQ : If WWE books Cena vs Taker it won't. And if Vince books Cena vs Orton for WWE Title and Taker vs HHH for WHC with HBK as guest referee, it would be decent. Vince needs **** for putting Barrett, Sheamus, or Kane against Taker at WM 27 and I'm 100% WM 27 would get the lowest buyrate ever if that does happen.
It's a slap to every wrestling fan's face. Please answer mine, Clown : http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
