Will Rep. Michelle Bachmann be the last man standing as the Republican nominee for president in 2012?

It seems unlikely to me. I think she'd rather end up as somebody's running-mate. She's got far too many negatives for the top spot, but she could be a major asset to the ticket in the #2 slot, as Palin was intended to be.

Multi-way elections always do funny things, with various contenders splitting off chunks of the vote and leaving candidates who would otherwise have no chance holding a plurality, if not a majority. It's entirely possible that Bachmann, as the craziest of the crazy, could get 100% of the tp'er votes and end up on top. But I doubt it.

As I said, her negatives are high, and the tea party star is fading. It's obvious to everybody else that she's a terrible, terrible candidate for the general election. Obama would have to be caught with both a dead girl AND a live boy for her to beat him.

They could still fail to unify behind a different candidate and elect her anyway, leading to the biggest victory for Obama since Reagan massacred Mondale. It couldn't happen to a nicer buncha people. But I doubt it will. PamPerdue 57 months ago.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
