I agree. Unless everyone has some skin in the game the goal of seriously reducing the national debt will be to no avail. Furthermore, I believe they should consider reducing the amount of money in the form of pensions for retired politicians.

The TP has a choice. Either they learn to compromise, or they will be marginalized and the world (and the republicrat part) will simply bypass them and do their own thing. They are at a crossroads, and it is their choice to make.Is ideological purity, at the cost of ineffectiveness, what they want?

Or is making change, actually accomplishing something, their goal, at the cost of compromise and agreement? As an non-TP person, it will be interesting to watch.It's in some ways like Hamas and the Palestinians. (The TP being the parallel of Hamas) Hamas are fundamentalist ideologues, and they remain true to their so-called ideals.

On the other hand, the enslave people under their control, and do not have any new or progressive ideas - only that of purity and subjugation. The non-hamas palestinians, who want to actually accomplish something, are building an economy and are negotiating to make progress in their pursuit. They're not there yet, but they're closer than they were than when the absolutist ideologues were in power.

And so it is with the TP. The rubber hits the road now. Do they want to govern, or do they want to talk?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
