Reveals The True Story About How A Former Broke Mother Of Four Used Her Now Real World Tested And Proven S.m.a.r.t. Couponing System To Save Her Family And Get Out Of Debt. Get it now!
In our town, we mainly have three grocery stores: WalMart- a super Walmart where I usually shop, Cubs-which is okay but kind of disorganized and Kroger-which is usually over-priced. I only go to Kroger for my prescription medicines since I have insurance and the price is the same no matter where I go. They have a walk up so it makes it convenient.
If I had a bunch of coupons from Cubs, which I don’t necessarily shop at, I would really have to look at them. I know that Cub’s prices are pretty close to Walmarts. So to make me go to Cubs, the coupons had better be real good.
Plus Walmart will honor other stores sales or coupons so I would usually just take the coupons for the items I buy anyway and go to WalMart as usual. Grocery shopping is stressful for me anyway. I sure don’t need to have to stress going to a different store if I’m not going to save that much money anyway.
I'd like to think that I would, but I rarely end up actually doing it. However, if there's a store that I've been to in the past that I haven't visited in a while, a coupon may entice me to come back. Truth be told, if I genuinely don't like a store and don't shop there, a coupon isn't very likely to draw me in.
However, there are lots of great stores out there that I'm simply too busy for much of the time. A coupon can, in certain cases, be just what it takes to bring me back to that store and start shopping again. If I like the store, a coupon can often bring me back.
However, if I've had a bad experience with a specific place, I likely won't be back no matter how much money they promise to help me save.
It depends. If there is enough deals to make it worthwhile and it is not too far out of my way, I may shop at a different store based on coupons. I will especially go out of my way if it is a new location or new store opening so I can get a sense of the overall store and the standard deals they may offer.
For standard grocery shopping, I probably would pass the coupons by if it was not at my regular stores since it would take so much time to find what I needed in an unfamiliar store. I usually learn the coupon policies at each grocery store, then try to maximize my savings at one store, instead of hopping around to different grocery stores. One trick I've learned is that some grocery stores will take competitor's coupons.
This typically works on store distributed coupons. So, you may be able to get the benefits of coupons from another store at your preferred grocery store. There may be restrictions, so be sure to check out your grocery store's coupon policy.
Well, I have never personally gone to a certain store only because I had a really good coupon. However, this is something I could see myself doing in the future. If I had a coupon that was good for an item that I really liked or used on a regular basis, and the deal was super super cheap I would have no problem visiting the store simply to take advantage of the offer.
However, there are other factors that would also come into play. For example, if the store was very far out of my way then I don't think I would make the trip out just for a single item. Unless, of course, there was a huge savings involved -- certainly upwards of 20 dollars or so.
That would depend on several factors. First would be if I actually need the items in questioin. Do I think I am going to be close enough to the store while the coupons are in effect to really save money.
Another consideration would be am I going to save enough money to make of teh difference between the coupon items and what I normally pay plus the added expense of the gas and teh loss of the time it will take me to go to that store instead of my normal sources.
I tried clipping out coupons and decided to try some name brand items that were offered at a big discount that I had never tried before. I ended up spending more money shopping than I would have if I had just bought my regular groceries and forgot about the coupons. I guess I just don't have the time or the patience to go looking for coupons.
If I have them and I remember to take them to the store, I will use them, but since I mostly buy store brands, the prices are already lower than the name brands and I have found items that I love and buy all the time. My sister, on the other hand, saves all kinds of money with coupons and when they pay double, she even gets items free. I think it takes a certain talent!
If I receive coupons for a store that I don't usually shop at, I try to determine if those coupons are really worth the switch before going to that store. I'll compare the sale price to what I'm paying at the store I currently shop at, and see how much difference there really is. Also, are you realistically going to buy nothing else at that new store?
Those other items you may want to pick up could be more expensive than at your favorite store. Many stores will honor competitors' coupons, so one option is to check at the customer service desk at your favorite store to see if they will honor those coupons. This is more likely if the coupons are for name brands and not for private label/store brands.
I've found that often those extra coupons just aren't worth the trip to another store, but it always depends on the exact coupons. I know of people that will shop two or three stores to take advantage of all of the sale prices, but with two small kids, I'd rather get my shopping done as quickly as possible.
Yes I will. I once bought a book of coupons for free laundry powder, but each coupon had a limit of one redemption per shopping trip. I went all over town to every single store and picked up one free box of laundry powder at each store.
I did this every day until the book of coupons was gone. We didn't buy laundry soap for a whole year. It was the best coupon deal I have ever had.
The truth is, I felt a little odd about going into all of these store for just one box of soap at each store, and by the end of each trip, I had a trunk full of soap boxes, but it was worth it. Who wouldn't be convinced by this ad?
If it can save me a lot of money, I would go to a different store, but since I travel by taxicabs, the difference would have to be significant. However if the coupon I had was save ninety nine cents on a package of hot dogs I would not normally buy but they were on sale at the other store for a buck I sure would take them. Years ago, I found coupons to save a buck on three jars of baby food.
This was for the little jars and the store had them on sale that week for 3 for a buck, so I got lots of baby food free that week. When I grocery shop I try to use coupons all the time, sometimes it works out and some times it does not. I love to go in there and save twenty bucks or more by using coupons.
Usually I shop at my regular store because I am not going to add 4 bucks each way to the cab fare to save 10 bucks, as that’s not smart. That would be as bad as using a coupons to save a few dollars on an item in my regular store that I normally would not buy.
Well, I have received several coupons for stores that I do not normally go to. When I get them, I always give them out to friends and family. But I signed up in some new websites and I started receiving more coupons that I could not use in my regular grocery stores.
I decide to try the other grocery stores and to my greatest surprise I found some products and items at a better price than I used to get at my favorite stores, and at the same time I was able to make use of my coupons. Now I always try out other grocery stores if I have the opportunity to, but if they are not so close to my home I don’t bother going.
The only time that I would go out of my way to shop at a store that I usually do not shop at would be for some really great deals. Since the coupons you received were for buy one get one free offers, I think that I too would have gone to that store instead of my regular grocer. It couldn’t just be one item that was offered at a great deal, but a bunch of products that I would normally shop for anyway.
One word of caution is to get in early to ensure things do not sell out, but to also check the expiration dates of the items offered at a discount. I know I shopped at a grocery store once, and found some amazing deals, spent a bunch of money, got home and realized that half of the items I purchased were very near their expiration dates. I’m not complaining, because we did get to eat most of it, but more than I cared to see go was wasted because it went bad so quickly.
Here I thought that I had found a really great deal, and I ended up back at the grocery store that week.
Yes, I sometimes receive coupons from grocery stores that I don't usually frequent to and yes, I usually go and shop in that store because of coupons. But I see to it that the store is not very far from our place and that the items with coupons are the ones that I really needed and I have enough coupons that would make it more practical for me to shop for that store that is not my usual shopping place. The grocery store that I always go to is very near our place and so it is very convenient for me to shop but if I have coupons for another store which is quite far, I have to see to it that I will be able to save a lot in my shopping there in spite the distance and the gas that I will be spending on driving to that place.
Otherwise, if it is too far and the items that I will need to buy are not there, then, I won't go at all.
Typically I will not use coupons explicitly because of the store where they are eligible. I'm more likely to find a manufacturer's coupon on the internet and print it for a specific product which I can purchase at any store. I like to use organic and ecological products so I go to respective websites and find coupons for any of the items I purchase, then take them with me to any supermarket which I have seen those products at, or directly to the local whole food store.
I understand that I could save more money with grocery store promotions compounded by store coupons on specific products but I have read of some of the low quality ingredient on labels of the very inexpensive food and have realized that it's priced that way for a reason.
Sometimes I will go to another store that I don't normally shop to use coupons. It all depends on how much I will save compared to the time and cost of gas to travel to the other store. If I have a coupon that will only save me a dollar but have to go an extra 10 miles out of the way, then obviously it isn't worth my time and money.
Now if I have a great number of coupons, then it's worth the extra mileage and time. Usually, I just continue to go to my favorite store or stores even if I have coupons elsewhere. That is generally because my usual store offers good bonus card savings and coupons and the difference between the total cost of my bill there and another store is minimal, all things considered.
I used to do this in my early couponing days. I would spend two hours each Sunday night going through the paper, clipping out coupons and circling items on sale at stores that I didn't typically shop at like CVS or Rite Aid, in the hopes that I could learn how to shop for free like some of the mommy bloggers do. Then, I would plan which stores to visit on which days that week.
But, I found that 1) I was buying a lot of stuff I would never use, just to earn some CVS Extra Bucks, so I could buy something I kind of wanted later for free, 2) I was probably spending enough money in gas just to drive our minivan to each of these stores to negate any significant savings, and 3) loading up our three kids to go to each destination was literally sucking all the happiness out of my life. So, now I clip coupons for items I will actually buy and I shop at Publix every Wednesday when the new sale paper comes out. I plan our meals for that week based on what's on sale.
That way, I save my money and my sanity.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
