I'm not really a sports fan. But I know that many NFL careers are extremely short due to the injury rate, and I would think this sport would be an area of intense focus for improving protective gear...Have the helmets become more shock absorbent, with spring loaded sections for "holding" flags - to eliminate neck injuries etc? Anything? Asked by NanoNano 39 months ago Similar questions: talk improvement professional sports equipment years high technology swimsuits Sports & Recreation > Football.

Absolutely football equipment is constantly improved... Every year football equipment becomes better and better. Specifically football helmets have went through many changes over the years. The current focus has been to prevent concussions.
They have these sort of double helmets now that help prevent concussions called procaps. It is a traditional helmet with a second polyurethane cap that cushions head blows. The next generation helpet was recently unveiled but not yet in use: Gear is definitely always improving though there will still always be injuries in football. It is obviously a very physical sport and especially knees are almost impossible to fully protect while still maintaining movement.
That is sort of the issue with football gear...everyone wants to be safe but the gear also has to light enough and non restricting so players can still play up to their top level. Just as important as equipment is teaching proper technique. Most football neck injuries occur when a tackler uses poor/incorrect form and lead with their head.
The NFL discourages poor technique by penalizing and fining players who lead with their head.
1 without a doubt, tons of research is in progress. Oddly enough it's the Nikes of the world leading the way. Not the league itself so much.
I read a peculiar theory, that one way to reduce the number of head and neck injuries in football,is to take away the helmets. Players wouldn't lead with their head.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
